Fancy Dress Code, the Leeds based fancy dress experts, is an on-line fancy dress store, where the only limits are your imagination.

Having started in August 2008 as a local antidote to the unavailability in shops of reasonably priced costumes for the owners’ children, Fancy Dress Code is a family run business providing a spectacular array of very affordable costumes for everyone from toddlers to pensioners.

The business has grown from simple kiddies’ costumes to the provision of adult costumes, wigs, hats, masks, props and gifts for customers afar as Australia, USA, Canada, Italy and Spain.

Fancy Dress Code also provide a vast selection of themed costumes, including: Superhero, Movie Star, World Book Day Characters, Hawaiian, Tudor, Animal, Halloween, Christmas, Pirate, Cowboys & Indian, Knights, Crusaders, Outlaws, Regal Kings & Queens, Ancient Rulers, Around the World, Fairytale, Rock & Pop Star, Clowns, Uniform, Celebrity Lookalike, Cartoon Characters, Decades, Pantomime, Hen & Stag.

And if there is something required that is not available in the online store, the business has its own dedicated sewing team who can quickly make bespoke adult costumes and mascots. And although the business does not offer a hire facility, it can produce fancy dress requirements to the more demanding hire quality.

More recently, Fancy Dress Code mascot costumes were featured in television advertising for the Aldi group of supermarkets.

And the business has come to the attention of no less a luminary than Theo Paphitis, the British entrepreneur who owns the Rymans and Partners chains, and is possibly best known for his appearances as a ‘Dragon’ on the BBC business programme “Dragons' Den” when they achieved a Twitter ‘retweet’ by him on Small Business Sunday
